Rising majestically on the outskirts of Kathmandu, Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in Nepal and a major center of Buddhist devotion. Believed to be over 1,500 years old, it has long welcomed pilgrims from Nepal, Tibet, and beyond. The massive white dome, topped with the iconic Buddha eyes, radiates peace and calm, while prayer wheels spin continuously along its perimeter, accompanied by soft chants and the flutter of colorful prayer flags. Walking around the stupa, you feel a sense of serenity and spiritual energy, with glimpses of monks, devotees, and visitors creating a timeless, living atmosphere. It’s a place where history, faith.
